Arkle becomes a National Caravan Council member

Arkle is delighted to have been accepted as a full member of the National Caravan Council (NCC).

The NCC was established in 1939 as the UK trade body representing the collective interests of four product sectors – touring caravans, motorhomes, caravan holiday homes and residential park homes. It is a not-for-profit trade association that represents companies throughout the supply chain of each sector:

Manufacturers of tourers, motorhomes, caravan holiday homes and residential park homes

Retail dealers of touring caravans and motorhomes

Distributors of caravan holiday homes

Holiday and residential park operators

Suppliers of components, appliances and accessories

Specialist service providers to the industry.

The NCC plays a crucial role in promoting best practice, helping members become more competitive and formulating effective public policy and delivery. It provides a united voice for the reputable businesses within the caravan industry when talking to government and regulatory bodies, and quickly disseminates information to its members to protect their business interests and give them a commercial edge.

It provides a wide range of benefits to its members, including informing them of the latest technical advances and changes to legislation that drive the industry forward and the benefits that have been designed with business needs in mind.

Working with its membership, the NCC strives to ensure that customers receive quality products, professionally supplied, fairly traded and well supported. It was founded with the exclusive objective of representing and serving those who own or manage holiday caravan, residential, tenting, touring and glamping parks.
