Commission
Disclosure
Background:
The Supreme Court decision into commissions paid by lenders to motor finance dealers for regulated motor finance agreements was made on 1st August 2025. The FCA have subsequently announced that they will consult on a redress scheme which they intend to publish by early October 2025.
What you should know:
- Arkle has never operated discretionary commission arrangements (DCAs) within its regulated lending portfolio.
- The redress scheme is being considered by the FCA in respect of regulated motor finance agreements.
- All complaints relating to motor finance commissions are paused until 4th December 2025. The FCA have suggested this pause may be extended.
- You do not need to use a claims management company (CMC) or law firm to raise a complaint. You can do this by completing the form at the bottom of this page.
Our position:
We are currently waiting for the consultation on the motor finance redress scheme to be published by the FCA.
Once you have completed and submitted the form below, we will record your complaint. No complaints raised in relation to commissions will be responded to until we have further clarity from the FCA and the pause is lifted.
